The Kubota V2203 that I intend to shoehorn into the never finished locost 7-style round tube instead of square chassis I bought for 600 bucks! I have a lot of machining to do, but I am pretty confident that the chassis will propel itself quite well with this engine. Gonna be fun on a bun.
Or crazy. Going to go for crazy. Heavy little engine in a small chassis.

Kubota uses a nice blue on their engines. Should be nice and torquey. Are you gonna get the pump (if it's mechanical, I can't make the pic any better my phone so I can't tell very well) tuned to coax a little power out?

It's a mechanical engine. It has some room for tuning, enough so that I might look into a low boost turbocharger arrangement later on, but it will be a DIY arrangement. All said and done this is far, far easier than my last major builds, which was converting a ford econoline to 4 wheel drive, and before that, converting one into 4 wheel drive with a cummins and manual trans.

I guess see how it plays in its new home and see what you got to do.

How about low boost supercharger and high boost turbo?

This engine is a bit small to need compounding! Just a tiny turbo to make it happy is enough.

GO BIG OR GO HOME! JK. It would be fun to see how much power one of those would hold though.

I imagine much more than 15 pounds of boost and you would have quite a mess, if the pump could even feed it! It's a stout little motor, though given its weight (i am guessing about 400 lbs? could be more) i am not sure I can call it little...
